Kenneth Miles

Kenneth Miles is the Assistant vice chancellor/Executive director for academic affairs on the LSU campus. Miles says he considers himself an educators and told LSPA campers his life motto is to "Be a Man for Others"

With this in mind, Miles and the rest of the academic affairs team have raised the student athlete graduation rate across all sports. They have raised the football students graduation rate from 54 percent to 70 percent and Miles states that uplifting the students helps the relationships he has with them flourish.

When asked what inspires him Miles said "The inequalities in our society help me do what I do"

Without his mothers push for education Miles said he would not be where he is today. He also says his main keys to success are be authentic, reflective, aware, empathetic and support higher education.
